The Portfolio Strategy organization is a key functional pillar within International Markets Group (IMG), that provides the product portfolios and product plans for business success. The IMG Portfolio Strategy organization covers multiple regions: Middle East and Africa (MEA), Asia Pacific and Asean. Key focuses on IMG product cycle planning and product portfolio management, Regulatory compliance, Powertrain and Technology planning, Partnership opportunities and Inputs into Carline Program Managements

  • Support IMG profitability priorities definition (market / segments), aligning with global Ford portfolio and global strategies
  • Define affordable / feasible IMG portfolio, while maximizing profitability
  • Manage future product and powertrain strategies and prioritization into Cycle Plan process
  • Facilitate IMG Cycle Plan process and feed into global Cycle Plan. And deliver starting milestone of product program development
  • Develop broad market view, monitor customer insight, competitive landscape, technology trends and activities
  • Define IMG Powertrain requirements, consistent with unique Fuels, Emissions, Electrification incentives, Local market requirements, including engine displacement taxes and duties, etc.
  • Monitor emerging changes in safety, emissions and sustainability regulations and define affordable compliance plans for the portfolio
  • Investigate cross-market trade opportunities including manufacturing footprint considerations
  • Define like for like markets (commonality) and explore product development synergies
  • Develop IMG product and business PoV and feed market needs/wants into Carline Program Managements
  • Develop IMG market requirements into Global technology planning, including local languages, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business degree
  • At least 5 years of working experience with strong background in Automotive Industry
  • Preferred prior experience on Cycle Planning, Strategy, Finance, Planning, Program or Product Marketing experience
  • Computer literacy e.g. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Expert analytical, strategic thinking, business acumen, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork with peers, cross-functionally, internationally and with Leadership.
