Job Summary
Responsible for innovating, developing, and enhancing existing knowledge to create new technologies, products, and innovations aligned with business plans and goals, strengthening competitiveness in products and technology while supporting the company's long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new ideas and propose technology concepts for research and development.
- Conduct R&D as a team member in areas such as PoC, TD, NPD, FI, and related technology or product development.
- Develop and design technologies and/or products related to catalyst polymerization technology, polymer structure-property relationships, polymer reaction engineering, processing, additives, and characterization.
- Apply research methodologies and research experience to support technology and product development.
- Take initiative, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Design and select advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify and understand the complexity of responsible technologies, including correlations, consequences, and risk management.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, or related fields.
- Strong research background in relevant technical areas, with the ability to conduct research, analyze results, and apply findings to technology or product development.
- Knowledge and understanding of Intellectual Property (IP), patents, and patent publications, including the ability to review and utilize patent information for research and development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an R&D environment.
- Able to work at Map Ta Phut, Rayong.
