Job Description

This is a full-time 1-year contract position for a Postdoctoral Researcher at Chulalongkorn University starting from April or May 2026 (The contract renewal can be considered). The researcher will engage in advanced research and collaborate on ongoing projects within the field of natural product drug discovery and . Responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, and producing scholarly publications. The role also involves mentoring graduate students.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or a related field (Candidates who have successfully defended their thesis and are awaiting the official degree award by the start date may be considered)
  • Research experience/expertise in the field ofnatural product drug discovery and development, such as Biological activity evaluation and mechanistic studies of of extracts/bioactive compounds using C. elegans(and/or cell culture models), Nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems for natural products, Computational and bioinformaticsof natural products, Natural product isolation and purification, etc.
  • Strong track record of research excellence with at least two publications inQ1 or Tier 1peer-reviewed journals as first author/corresponding author.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary research environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with positive and helpful attitude.
