Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Power BI Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, and dashboard creation, with a solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement. Experience in business analysis will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Translate business requirements into data models, visualizations, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Optimize Power BI performance through DAX, data modeling, and query tuning.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and datasets.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from business stakeholders.
- Document report logic, data sources, and business rules for transparency and reuse.
- Contribute to data governance and standardization efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
- 37 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience working with SQL databases, Excel, and cloud data sources (e.g., Azure, SharePoint).
- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
