Power BI Analytical Engineer - 1-year Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI analytical engineer to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, and dashboard creation, with a solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement. Experience in business analysis will be considered a strong advantage.

Summary

The Analytical Engineer will be responsible for building scalable dashboards, developing data models, and delivering actionable business insights through enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, DataBricks, and stakeholder management while working closely with business and technical teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Translate business requirements into data models, visualizations, and actionable insights.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

- Optimize Power BI performance through DAX, data modeling, and query tuning.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and datasets.

- Document report logic, data sources, and business rules for transparency and reuse.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.

Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.

- Experience working with DataBricks, SQL Database

- Able to use DAX Studio, ALM Toolkits, Git

- Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
