The Opportunity
A PPC Specialist at Criclabs is responsible for planning, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes for our clients and internal marketing initiatives. This role blends performance marketing fundamentals with experimentation and sharp analytical thinking.
This will be the first PPC position to join our team, and you will help spearhead the growth of this service offering. You will work alongside our SEO experts and content writers to align paid strategy with landing pages, messaging, and broader growth plans.
You will work closely with the Growth team to turn business objectives into campaign strategy, build clean tracking and reporting, and continuously improve results through structured testing and optimization.

Job Responsibility
- Plan, set up, and manage PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads.
- Translate client goals into campaign structure, targeting strategy, budgets, and messaging angles.
- Help productize and grow our PPC service offerings (packages, processes, templates, and internal best practices) so we can scale delivery without sacrificing quality.
- Conduct keyword research, build and maintain keyword lists, and manage match types, negatives, and search term hygiene.
- Write and iterate ad copy and creative briefs that align with brand voice and improve conversion performance.
- Monitor performance daily and optimize bids, budgets, audiences, placements, and landing page alignment.
- Design and run A/B tests (ads, audiences, landing pages, bidding approaches) and document learnings.
- Ensure tracking is correct (UTMs, conversion events, pixels) and collaborate with dev/design when fixes are needed.
- Build clear weekly and monthly reporting, highlighting results, insights, and next actions.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists and project leads to align paid and organic strategy (keywords, messaging, and landing pages).
- Stay updated on platform changes, new ad products, and best practices, and share relevant learnings with the team.
Requirements:
Applicants don't need to have run huge budgets, but they should be curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning fast. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem solving are key, since much of the work involves turning performance data into clear optimization decisions.
All in all, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who meet the following criteria:
- PPC Experience: At least 2 years of PPC experience, managing multiple accounts. Hands-on agency experience is a plus.
- Organized and Efficient: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns and tasks effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for details in tracking setup, naming conventions, and performance changes.
- Research-Oriented: Ability to research competitors, audiences, keywords, and messaging angles.
- Data Savvy: Comfort working with numbers, analyzing trends, and explaining results clearly.
- Driven and Determined: Demonstrates a strong desire to grow in performance marketing.
- Responsible: Willingness to take ownership of outcomes and follow through on improvements.
- Positive Attitude: A can-do attitude and readiness to face challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of landing page UX and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience working with Southeast Asia markets (languages, audiences, buying behavior).
