Job Description

Job Purpose

The Manager - Pre-sales leads a regional team of international and local Thai pre-sales engineers, reporting directly to the CTO. This role is responsible for bridging high-level technology strategy with sales execution to drive Cloud and AI revenue. Your primary goal is to oversee the pre-sales lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence and the delivery of innovative solutions that solve complex customer challenges across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales engineers across local Thai and international markets, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Strategic Solution Design:

  • Partner with the CTO to align technical solutions with the company's long-term product roadmap, ensuring Cloud and AI offerings meet complex regional market demands.

Sales Pipeline Optimization:

  • Oversee the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle, ensuring technical resources are effectively allocated to high-value opportunities to maximize conversion rates.

Process Excellence:

  • Define and implement standardized pre-sales methodologies, including Proof of Concept (PoC) frameworks, Request for Proposal (RFP) response standards, and technical discovery processes across different regions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as the critical link between Sales, Engineering, and the Technology Solutions to ensure product feedback from the field is integrated into solution development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience at least 5 years in Pre-sales or Technical Consulting, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or people management role within the Cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and AI sectors.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record of managing or working with diverse, multi-cultural teams across Southeast Asia.
  • Strong architectural understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and AI/ML applications.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for international management; proficiency in Thai is highly advantageous for local team leadership.
  • Ability to coach technical talent, manage remote teams, and navigate high-pressure sales environments with a strategic mindset.
