Role Overview

AwareAI is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to be boots on the ground in Bangkok. You will lead technical engagement across the sales cycleface-to-face presentations and workshops in Thai, requirements discovery, solution design, and hands-on proofs of concept. A strong foundation in cloud is essential (AWS preferred). Experience with GenAI/ML and agentic AI is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead AI-focused opportunities: RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows; leverage AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and related tooling where relevant.

Lead customer-facing technical engagements in Thai: discovery, whiteboarding, solution scoping, and presentations/workshops.

Gather and document business and technical requirements; translate into solution architectures, PoC plans, and implementation approaches.

Plan and run Proof of Concepts (PoCs) end-to-end: define success criteria, stand up environments, execute tests, document results, and present findings.

Produce technical artifacts: reference architectures, proposals, SOWs, RFP responses, estimates/BOMs, and demo content (Thai and English).

Demonstrate AWS best practices and patterns

Collaborate with sales, product, delivery, and customer success to drive technical wins and ensure clean handoffs into delivery.

Maintain demo/playground environments; create TCO/ROI comparisons and competitive positioning.

Contribute to meetups, seminars, and customer enablement; provide market and product feedback to leadership.

Stay current on cloud, security, and AI trends; pursue relevant certifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a similar relevant field.

25 years in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or a related customer-facing technical role.

Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions; strong AWS fundamentals.

Proven ability to scope and execute PoCs quickly and rigorously, including environment setup, testing, and success measurement.

Solid grounding in networking, IAM, security controls, data integration, and observability.

Strong consultative selling skills: discovery, objection handling, stakeholder management, and business-value articulation.

Fluent in Thai with excellent presentation, writing, and facilitation skills in Thai.

Good English communication skills for collaboration, documentation, and regional/global syncs.

Strong junior candidates with solid projects/PoCs will be considered.

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to build LLM-powered prototypes end-to-end:

oPrompt engineering and tool/function calling

oRAG design (document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, rerankers)

oOrchestration with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex

oBasic evaluation and experimentation workflows

oComfortable writing code to prototype quickly (preferably Python; JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus). Familiar with APIs/SDKs for major model providers.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) or equivalent experience.

Work Model and Travel

Primarily customer-facing in Bangkok with periodic travel within Thailand; hybrid work arrangements can be discussed.
