Principal Project Manager (Manufacturing Industry)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

. Lead multiple technical projects from initiation to completion.

. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and workload allocations using project management tools.

. Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams across operations and support functions.

. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

. Ensure technical solutions align with business goals, quality standards, and project requirements.

. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management through reports, dashboards, and risk registers.

. Manage budgets, resources, vendors, and project timelines effectively.

. Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

. Take full ownership and accountability for project outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline Master's degree preferred.

. PMP certification required and at least 8 years of experience in technical project management or a related field.

. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

. Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

. Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.

. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

. Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.

. Strong manufacturing expertise, particularly in opto-mechanical assembly and machining.

. Knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP S4 Hana) and usiness process integration.

. Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

. Resilient under pressure and results-oriented.

. Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
