Private Sector Engagement and Impact Finance Advisor to drive transformative partnerships and innovative financing solutions that advance Women and Girls equity and decent work across Asia.
As the regional lead for CARE's flagship
Made by Women (MbW) Initiative, you will shape strategy, strengthen program performance, and broker high-impact collaborations across industriesfrom apparel and agribusiness to finance and technology. You'll also expand CARE's footprint beyond MbW, connecting investors, corporations, and social enterprises to create lasting, Women and Girls-equitable economic change
What You Will Do
- Lead strategic direction, program management, and performance oversight of the Made by Women Initiative.
- Develop and implement a regional private sector engagement strategy aligned with CARE's Women's Economic Growth priorities.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with corporations, investors, and business networks to drive innovation, funding, and influence.
- Map and connect Women and Girls-responsive social enterprises with investors and market opportunities.
- Champion innovative finance modelsincluding blended and impact financingto scale CARE's work.
- Strengthen internal capacity on private sector engagement, facilitate learning across countries, and represent CARE at key regional and industry forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in development, economics, business studies or relevant field
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in private sector engagement, impact investing, or resource mobilization, preferably in Asia.
- Experience in program coordination or project management, preferably in the development sector.
- Proven successful fundraising for programming through brokering partnerships with private sector stakeholders.
- 2-3 years experience in innovative financing, blended finance and impact investment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, reach out and engage external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in systems thinking, particularly within the context of a of a large confederation setup, with the ability to understand and analyze complex systems and interdependencies.
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree and /or post graduate courses in corporate social responsibility; sustainable business
- Experience with private sector supply chain operations, women and girls integration, and adaptive programming approaches is preferred
- Human-centered design experience is an advantage
