Summary
- To lead process improvement and quality sustaining actions to ensure quality consistency
- Required to conduct investigation problem solving, root cause analysis, initiate process control and provide technical support to production
- To plan, lead and implement continuous quality improvement projects, Value Improvement Project and Product transfer both locally and abroad
Job Description
- To lead, support and take actions to production operation in maintaining glove quality consistency
- Working with stakeholders to investigate quality issues, implement process control plans and recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of issues and apply Smart Solve system for managing Nonconformances (NCs)
- To analyze defective and potential root cause and records in database for statistical analysis and sharing with team to guide corrective and preventive actions
- To perform problem solving and root cause analysis through 6 sigma tools, Process Characteristic CTQ and DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control)
- Lead and support continuous process improvement and optimization initiatives such as reduction in glove powder, protein, barrier, and visual defects
- Lead and support value improvement projects to reduce product and operational cost
- Achieve assigned ADP (annual deployment plan) goals
- Provides technical solutions to production, to ensure conformance to quality and regulatory requirements
- Conduct change development plan (CDP), Installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance qualification for Forming and/ or Chlorination follow 1QMs system
- Perform other related duties of similar type and work on assigned
- Perform lab evaluations as required
- Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance
- Ensure that all accidents & near miss are reported to management and injured are given proper treatment
- Investigate all accidents & near miss and make necessary reports and recommendations
- Take disciplinary action on any safety violation in consultation with safety officer and or Human Resource Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry or related fields
- At least two years experience in Process Engineering within manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in medical industry is advantageous
- Experience from Gloves Industry preferred
- Computer literacy
- Self-motivation, team spirit and strong leadership
- Native Thai and professional English (verbal and written) skill is required
