Position: Process Engineer

Position Reports to: Head of Global Engineering

Department: Operations

Location: Surat Thani, Thailand

Role Summary:

As part of an ambitious transformation plan, Lifestyles Healthcare is investing in modernizing its manufacturing and operational footprint to support future growth, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

In support of our transformation program, we are seeking a Process Engineer to support a major transformation program across our manufacturing network. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting the introduction of new technologies, and improving operational efficiency across production sites.

Working closely with engineering, operations, quality, and project teams, the Process Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to support the company's transformation objectives.

This is a hands-on role, combining technical process expertise with on-site support during implementation, testing, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Transformation Program Support

  • Support the process design and implementation aspects of a global manufacturing transformation program.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure new processes align with operational and product requirements.
  • Provide process engineering expertise during facility upgrades, equipment installations, and operational changes.

Process Design & Optimization

  • Analyze production workflows and develop process improvements to increase efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
  • Optimize process parameters, material flows, and production line configurations.
  • Support process standardization across multiple manufacturing sites.

Equipment & Technology Integration

  • Work with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to support integration of new production equipment.
  • Participate in equipment trials, commissioning, and validation activities.
  • Ensure processes are capable of delivering required production volumes and quality standards.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Use production and quality data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Support initiatives focused on waste reduction, cost efficiency, and operational performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support transformation initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to site teams on new processes and operational standards.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the process engineering workstreams of a global transformation program.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes, workflows, and production performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement process improvements, line optimizations, and efficiency initiatives to support operational transformation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support the introduction of new production equipment and technologies.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), process parameters, and operational guidelines.
  • Support equipment trials, validation activities, and production start-ups during transformation projects.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance data, identifying root causes of inefficiencies or quality issues.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure stable and efficient production processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction, yield improvement, and productivity gains.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 4–6+ years experience in process validation within a latex or glove manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, line optimization, or manufacturing transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with production equipment, manufacturing processes, and operational teams.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced project environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in FMCG, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting equipment commissioning, process validation, or new product introduction (NPI).
  • Knowledge of process data analysis tools and manufacturing performance metrics (OEE, yield, throughput).
