Serve as the primary liaison between company's US-based engineering teams and the Contract Manufacturer (CM)/supplier base in Thailand.
Be a key contributor in scaling LiDAR hardware products from New Product Introduction (NPI) to High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) at CM partners.
Assist the NPI Team by supporting builds from concept to volume scaling, including build preparation, reviewing build metrics, and identifying issue resolution at CMs.
Ensure manufacturing readiness by leading Ramp readiness activities, including materials, final assembly equipment and fixtures, line layout, training, and documentation.
Support production released products until End-of-Life (EOL), overseeing process yield control, cost reduction activities, and identifying and driving Design for Manufacturability (DfM) and process improvements.
Drive Design for Manufacturing/assembly (DfM/DfA) improvements and perform analysis to deliver scalable manufacturing solutions. Participate in DFA/DFM activities and provide manufacturing plant's feedback based on lessons learned.
Oversee process qualification and execution, focusing on the final assembly and test processes to ensure exceptional quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
Work with the automation team and equipment vendors during design, development, testing, and qualification, and actively contribute to equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) run
Maintain up-to-date communication between the plant and the front office teams, acting as a voice of the Business Unit (BU) in the plant to bring plant feedback to cross-functional teams
Required Skill:
Degree in Engineering
5–10+ years in Manufacturing/NPI
Strong experience in CM management + production ramp
Skilled in DFM/DFA, yield improvement, and process validation
Exposure to hardware/electronics/LiDAR products
Strong communicator with global team collaboration experience
