Process Engineering Intern

About our group:

The Process Engineering team supports Head Stack Assembly (HSA) manufacturing from new product launch to mass production. We work extensively with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve product and process performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery metrics.

About the role - you will:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the HSA process, assembly flow, rework flow, testing, and automation machines.
• Strive to enhance overall process efficiency and product quality, especially in the reflow interconnect process by increasing the effectiveness of this process.
• Conduct detailed studies and analyses to identify areas for improvement, including in-depth study of the physics of heat transfer, reflow soldering, material properties, and product design related to the reflow process.
• Perform big data analytics to drive improvements in reflow process efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals through improvement projects.

About you:

• Preferable experience in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing and/or assembly processes.
• Strong technical knowledge in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, and Data Analytics.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
