Job Description

The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across CROWN Food Packaging (Thailand) PLC's manufacturing operations. This role must applies the Lean Manufacturing and the Six Sigma approach to improve the plant operation efficiency and combining other well-known WCM (World Class Manufacturing) approaches such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to sustain and strengthen the excellent operations. The incumbent works cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Research and Development, Supply Chain and other related departments to be excellent organization.

  • Drive the Lean Manufacturing program, sustain and strengthen WCM/TPM programs across all plant operations.
  • Conduct team to identify improvement opportunities throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Lead kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, cycle time, defect rates, and throughput to track improvement progress.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Apply the Six Sigma approach and tools through statistical analysis in reducing variations in operations with data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Partner with department heads and plant management to align improvement priorities with business objectives.
  • To be change agent, drive change management initiatives and facilitate buy-in from operations teams at all levels.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Track project milestones, conduct post-implementation reviews, and ensure sustainability of progress and achievements
  • Prepare and present performance dashboards and management reports to senior leadership.
  • Provide coaching, training, mentoring and facilitating raising competency by building through Lean tools, RCA techniques, and problem-solving methodologies to related parties
  • Integrate quality management requirements (e.g., ISO, FSSC 22000, and etc) into improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all process improvement activities comply with occupational safety regulations and CROWN's internal standards.
  • Support environmental and sustainability goals in alignment with corporate ESG (Environment/Social/Governance) commitments.
  • Support environmental and sustainability global projects in alignment with corporate commitments.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Certified in Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt as Practitioner.
  • Solid understanding of other WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a dedicated process improvement, industrial engineering, or operational excellence role.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering measurable cost savings and productivity improvements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food & beverage packaging, metal can, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Result & detailed oriented with strong interpreted communication skills
