Job Description

This role is part of driving excellence model in Production Cell. He/she will act autonomously as part of a wider production team to deliver company operation performance target in productivity, cost, quality, delivery, safety etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the Centerline, Changeover, and Change Management DMS's
  • Leads process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards.
  • Analyzes cell data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities.
  • Leads root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the cell.
  • Improving own cell performance to achieve the KPIs by Cell leader supervision.
  • Coaching teams on Centerline, Changeover, and Change Management DMS execution and problem-solving skills with FEM tools i.e. IPS, UPS, 6W2H, Fishbone and etc.
  • Participating in Cell DDS process daily to set priorities and allocate resources.
  • Cooperate with other functional team i.e. NPI, Quality, CI and etc. to develop the process control and procedure to meet the plan.
  • Ensure and lead the team to do the root cause analysis and right corrective and preventive action on the quality complaint and feedback.
  • Supporting Cell leader to develop model of continuous improvement in the cell.
  • Provide floor coaching on DMS, Loss elimination, Skill development, Technical Mastery of EO, TL
  • Ensures the implementation of all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements and safe work practices in accordance with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Ensures the achievement of quality goals and resolves customer complaint-related issues through action plans (Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Facilitate improvement efforts while also soliciting ideas from all team members.
  • Work with frontline operators and mechanics, as well as with middle and upper management.
  • Delivery of quality management and assurance systems
  • Production procedures and regulations to meet legislative/organizational requirements.
  • Planning and project management principles, problem solving, relationship building and leading through KPIs.
  • Leading performance management and their use and organizations tools and policies for managing teams.
  • Facilitate and assure the success of our teams by defined mission and goal.
  • Clearly defined team roles and problem-solving strategies, such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Cause Effect Analysis, etc.,
  • Collecting data using Excel spreadsheets and composing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Tracking and reporting the financial benefit of a Performance Excellence project.
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
  • Fully comply with all company Health and Safety requirements, including reporting all accidents, near accidents, and hazards.
  • Other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

  • +5 years experience in manufacturing environment and sound knowledge of manufacturing process, with experience as Process engineer/Process improvement
  • Computer literate with competence in all Microsoft applications
  • Good command of English both written and spoken.
  • Good principal knowledge of production/manufacturing techniques including material handling systems, maintenance, production planning/scheduling, ergonomics, workplace study, Statistical Process Control, process types such as flow and batch, product/raw material principles.
  • Good knowledge of Lean operational and quality improvement practices such as workplace organization, visual management, waste reduction and shop floor problem solving

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong technical in Lean, TPM or Manufacturing Excellence Model
  • Proven experience in reliability improvement project
  • Problem Solving and Systematic Thinking Skill
  • Engaging personality with ability to build proactive Operation culture and work with diverse team.
  • Ability to communicate fluently and concisely.
  • Can-Do Attitude
  • Feel energy for change, able to adapt to FEM system.
  • Sound coaching skills and must be able to develop others.
  • Ability to influence their coworkers in positive ways to promote changes of paradigms.
