Process Project Engineer

Introduction

Syensqo (Bangpoo) Specialty Chemicals Ltd. is planning to launch a new product at our Bangpoo plant. To support this, we require the expansion of our existing process facilities, including the installation of new piping and storage tanks (brown field work).

We are seeking a qualified Project/Process Engineer or Project Manager to lead this project from initial development to commissioning.

Project Scope

1. Receive and analyze lab-scale information from the research team to develop a scalable process for the Bangpoo plant.
2. Develop process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
3. Perform equipment sizing and selection.
4. Coordinate with various vendors, including mechanical contractors, equipment fabricators, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and process engineering companies.
5. Oversee the project from process development through commissioning (estimated duration: 9-12 months).

Qualifications

1. Thai national or Expat.
2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
3. Minimum experience: 4-5 completed projects in chemical plant environments.
4. Strong background in process and project engineering.
5. Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
6. Able to start work within 2-3 months.
7. Willing to work on-site at the Bangpoo plant throughout the project duration.
