Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer liaison on quality issues and addressing customers issues.
  2. To assist in the evaluation, development and implementation of quality processes and methods within the ASEAN manufacturing facilities.
  3. To ensure the quality system meets or exceeds any customer, corporate, or internal requirements and any other related requirement within the Quality Systems.
  4. To coordinate statistical process control, continuous improvement activities.
  5. To maintain the quality system, through SPC charting, cost of quality and reporting.
  6. To coordinate supplier development and perform surveys.
  7. To coordinate internal and external system audits. To monitor internal and supplier processes using Process Documentation such as Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plant etc.
  8. To participate in developing Quality related documentation, systems, or training.
  9. To coordinate customer, internal, and supplier corrective and preventive actions.
  10. To coordinate the development, control, calibration, and usage of inspection gages and equipment including training.
  11. To coordinate process capability studies internally and to coordinate this activity with the suppliers.
  12. To develop reports such as Customer PPM reports, and other reports including QOS metric reports.
  13. To coordinate inspection and calibration activities internally or externally including procurement, design, recall, and disposal.
  14. To coordinate product and process changes.
  15. Lead supplier development and quality improvement activities.
  16. Organize and conduct Product Quality / Quality Systems audit at supplier base (for both new and existing suppliers).
  17. Verify and approve APQP and PPAP documentation.
  18. Monitor and report supplier quality performance for domestic and overseas suppliers.
  19. Improve suppliers plant quality and logistic performance, based on ZF's Global Supplier Quality Manual.
  20. Interface and ensure quality tools and methodologies are implemented
  21. Report health, safety and environmental accidents/incidents immediately to the supervisor of the affected area.
  22. Supports and participates in the continuous improvement of the EMS.
  23. Supports and participates in communication of the importance of the EMS throughout the organization.
  24. Supports and participates in training of employees on environmental issues.

Qualification:

  1. Bachelor Degree, or higher in related fields.
  2. Experience 5 years up in related fields, preferably automotive industry.
  3. Knowledge of machining and assembly of mechanical devices in high volume manufacturing.
  4. Able to communicate in English.
  5. Able to operate computer.
  6. Experience in the implementation and maintenance of IATF16949:2016 Quality Standard.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  8. Self-motivated and organized.
