Job Description

About the Company :

Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to operational excellence, sustainable growth, and continuous improvement. The organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead the procurement function, optimize sourcing strategies, and drive value across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including direct and indirect materials, services, and capital expenditure.
  • Drive supplier performance management through KPIs, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, digital procurement, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement policies, governance, and compliance standards are effectively implemented.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the procurement team to build a high-performance organization.
  • Monitor market trends, raw material pricing, and supply risks to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and procurement transformation.
  • Proven experience managing both direct and indirect procurement.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings, supplier development, and procurement excellence initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office.
  • Communicate in English and Thai
