Procurement Engineer

Job Description

• Procure machinery, heavy equipment, spare parts, and related maintenance services.
• Analyze requirements from the Engineering/Production departments and source machinery that meets specifications, quality, and cost targets.
• Communicate with suppliers, request quotations, conduct price comparison, and negotiate for the best commercial terms.
• Prepare and manage purchasing documents (PR/PO) and follow up on the entire purchasing process until delivery.
• Evaluate, develop, and maintain supplier performance, including updating vendor databases.
• Review quotations, invoices, and all related technical and commercial documents for accuracy.
• Track delivery status and coordinate with warehouse, maintenance, and relevant departments.
• Control purchasing budgets for machinery and provide reports to supervisors.
• Research and identify new machinery technologies and propose improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues related to delivery delays, product quality, or other unexpected problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• 13 years of experience in machinery procurement, industrial equipment purchasing, or spare parts procurement.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (Engineering Drawings).
• Strong negotiation, price analysis, and supplier evaluation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, or relevant purchasing software.
• Detailoriented, responsible, and able to work well under pressure.
• Willing to travel to visit suppliers when required.

• Base salary (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
• Cash Supplement: Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) = 1,200 Baht/month
• 5 working days per week from Monday to Friday
• Diligent Allowance: pay annually depending on your attendance record: 4,600-9,000 Baht/year
• Bonus: Based on annual and company performance (last 5 years: 2020 = 4.0, 2021 = 3.5, 2022 = 2.5,
• 2023 = 4.0, 2024 = 4.5 months)
• Annual Leave: 6 days (JanuaryDecember 2025)
• Provident Fund: Employer contribution = 5%
• Medical Allowance: 6,000 Baht/year (OPD and Dental), accumulable up to 18,000 Baht
• Marriage Allowance: 2,000 Baht
• Children's Scholarship Fund: 2,0005,000 Baht/year
• Funeral Allowance: 10,000 Baht/person (Family only)
• Group Insurance: Muang Thai Insurance (for IPD)
