We are looking for a Procurement & Import Officer to support our supply chain operations in both domestic and international sourcing. This role is responsible for managing purchasing activities, coordinating with overseas suppliers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance of import documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage both domestic and international purchasing processes, including sourcing, price comparison, and supplier coordination
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers (e.g. China, India) regarding orders, specifications, and shipment schedules
- Review and verify import documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with internal teams (warehouse, production, and accounting) to support smooth operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or import-export operations (at least one area required)
- Basic understanding of import documentation and international shipping processes
- Good communication skills in English
- Proficient in using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity, communication, and documentation workflows
Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)
- Experience in purchasing steel materials such as HRC (Hot Rolled Coil) or Cold Rolled Steel
- Familiarity with steel industry supply chain or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with overseas suppliers, especially from China
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
Salary: 25,000 – 30,000 THB (negotiable based on experience)
