Job Description
- Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
- Hands on experience in procurement, purchasing, material control or any supply chain relevant experience (direct and indirect procurement)
- Background in manufacturing/engineering business
- Proven experience in team management
- Experience in ERP system
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Fluent English communication skill
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
