Procurement Logistics Specialist Laos & Cambodia (1-Year Contract)

Job Purpose:

To manage and optimize logistics procurement operations across Laos and Cambodia, ensuring cost-effective, sustainable, and compliant sourcing of logistics services. This role supports the regional supply chain strategy and contributes to operational excellence in transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Develop and execute logistics procurement strategies for Laos and Cambodia.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard logistics service providers (transportation, warehousing, customs clearance).
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure value delivery and risk mitigation.
• Operational Excellence
• Collaborate with supply chain, planning, and customer service teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely resolution of logistics issues impacting service levels or costs.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Unilever's policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for logistics operations.
• Data & Analytics
• Analyze logistics spend and performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for regional procurement and supply chain leadership.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Laos, Cambodia.
• Represent procurement in cross-functional projects and regional initiatives.

Education and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.

• Relevant Experience in Logistics Services industry, or Procurement of such, will be preferable.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.

• SAP and Digital sourcing Platforms knowledge (advantage).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good command of English.
