Job Summary:
Home Furnishing (HF) Category is responsible for leading procurement activities within the Home Furnishing business unit, with a strong focus on yarn sourcing and related raw materials. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, supply continuity, and compliance with company standards while maintaining product quality and timely delivery. The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth, supplier development, and category strategies.
Must-have qualifications for Procurement Manager:
- Experience working in sourcing venders and material within the garment/textile industry
- Experience in product development and merchandising
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies specific to Home Furnishing to achieve cost savings, secure supply, and improve supplier performance.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes: vendor identification, sourcing, bidding, negotiations, contracting, and purchase order management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Home Furnishing suppliers, ensuring reliability, quality, and innovation.
- Partner with HF Operation team, Calendar Manager, Central Planning, and Quality teams to align procurement with business requirements.
- Monitor yarn and textile market trends (cotton, polyester, blends, recycled fibers) and provide insights to support sourcing decisions.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Drive initiatives to improve procurement efficiency, sustainability, and risk management within the HF category.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal standards, and ethical practices.
- Provide regular updates, cost analysis, and performance reports to management.
- Coach and support team members handling Home Furnishing procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 710 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in category or managerial roles.
- Proven experience in Home Furnishing, furniture, textiles, or related categories preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of yarn markets (spinning, weaving, dyeing), cost structures, and sustainability certifications (Oeko-Tex, GRS, BCI).
- Excellent both Thai and English for communication and collaboration skills across business units.
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is an advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
