Procurement Manager

Job Purpose

Lactalis-Mainland Thailand is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function for the company, driving sourcing strategies, supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and supply security. Partner with local and regional stakeholders to deliver sustainable value and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute procurement strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Deliver cost savings, value creation, and productivity initiatives across categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage strategic supplier relationships.
• Ensure supply continuity, mitigate risks, and monitor market trends.
• Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Drive procurement governance, compliance, and sustainability programs.
• Contribute to regional sourcing projects and procurement best practice sharing across SEASA.
• Build a high-performance procurement culture focused on agility, accountability, and business partnership. This position requires travels (10-15% of your time).

Key Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Purchasing, Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership experience in procurement ideally in an international environment. Previous experience in dairy industry is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision.
• Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals.
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic.
• Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within CBUs and suppliers.
• Know how to structure purchasing categories, clarify complex scopes, and implement governance models.
• Able to lead major sourcing projects, challenge supplier proposals, and influence stakeholders.
• Someone who is oriented to deliver value in these categories, with a strong understanding of the FMCG market across the different cultures.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in another language would be an added advantage.
