Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Impact Arena is a 12,000 capacity Arena and has over twenty-five years of history holding iconic global acts and concerts, conferences, sporting events and local performances. This busy hub within the larger Impact precinct, has up to 60 major events a year with over 600,000 people attending events there.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process to ensure that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company policies. This includes vendor sourcing and negotiation, contract and price management, compliance with approved vendor lists, and coordination of purchase orders. The role also oversees the integrity of procurement workflows, supports departments with purchasing needs, and works closely with Finance to ensure proper documentation, GRN completion, and timely invoice processing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement procurement policy for the company.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with both local and international suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions to achieve competitive costs and drive cost savings.
  • Executes purchase orders, follow up, delivery, quality and cost control.
  • Manages vendors to improve quality, delivery and service performance.
  • Involves the purchase of critical and complex items which require specialized knowledge.
  • Participate in vendor qualification and problem resolution with vendors.
  • Review and ensure purchase order does not create excess inventory, otherwise PPV/Excess must be approved by line manager.
  • Responsible for purchasing and price negotiation of materials or parts to support production plans.
  • Monitor the vendor and suppliers performance and delivery time.
  • Ensure that purchasing system and all documents are properly updated and maintained.
  • Support the organizational goals in achieving total customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as properly assigned by line manager, including occasionally liaising with contractors or 3rd party vendors on construction projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or any related fields.
  • Preferred: 7 - 10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Experience in Oversea Purchasing is a plus
  • Understanding Purchasing.
  • Good command of English both spoke & written.
  • Good computer literacy Microsoft Office.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiable and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, supplier relationship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, proactive and logical thinking.
