Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager / Category Manager to join our growing retail business. This role will be responsible for developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving sales growth, and improving profitability across product categories within a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail, FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or related industries, with solid expertise in sourcing, negotiation, category management, and cross-functional collaboration. You should be commercially driven, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring smooth execution of product launches and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies to drive sales growth and improve margins
• Manage end-to-end sourcing, vendor negotiation, contracts, and supplier performance
• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, market data, and competitor activities
• Oversee product assortment, SKU optimization, and new product launches
• Plan promotions, campaigns, and seasonal activations with cross-functional teams
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, and slow-moving products
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and category sales targets
• Coordinate with suppliers on exclusive products, POSM, and promotional support
• Ensure successful in-store execution of launches and promotions

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of procurement/category management experience in FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or retail industry
• Strong negotiation skills with proven success in cost optimization and margin improvement
• Good understanding of import/export processes, compliance, and product certifications
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work in a dynamic retail environment with tight timelines
• Good command of Thai and English
