Procurement Manager

Venine Cable Electric Wire Company Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function and support the continued growth of our manufacturing operations.

This

position plays a critical role in developing procurement strategies, managing

supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of

raw materials and services required for electrical cable manufacturing. The

successful candidate will contribute directly to supply chain performance,

operational excellence, and the company's long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's

operational and financial goals.

• Lead strategic sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging materials,

spare parts, machinery, and services.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost

competitiveness, delivery performance, and reliability.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, payment terms, and commercial

conditions to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

• Drive cost-saving initiatives and supplier development programs to improve

procurement performance.

• Manage purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries to ensure on-time

material availability.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams

to support business operations.

• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize

inventory turnover and working capital.

• Analyze market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance to identify

risks and opportunities.

• Manage import procurement activities, customs clearance coordination, freight

forwarders, shipment tracking, and related documentation.

• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service

performance.

• Establish procurement KPIs and regularly report procurement performance to

management.

• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental

objectives.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, legal

requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain

Management, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience within a manufacturing

environment.

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract

negotiation, and cost reduction programs.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply

chain operations.

• Experience in import/export procurement and customs procedures will be an

advantage.

• Experience in cable, wire, electrical, automotive, electronics, metal

processing, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Chinese communication skills will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
