Key Accountabilities

  • You are expected to deliver on the key matrices of World class service, Competitive Cost and Sustainable sourcing by:
  • Understanding market conditions as well as forecasting future markets trends.
  • Co-creating and implementing Procurement strategies for your portfolio.
  • Planning and executing Procurement Decisions of who to buy from, how to buy, when to buy.
  • Working closely with Internal Operations team and External Supply Partners to drive key initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting Supply Chain issues (e.g. Crisis Management).
  • Identifying and implementing tools and processes to optimize sourcing practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management OR Master's degree with specialization in Procurement/Supply Chain and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in Logistics Services industry, or Procurement of such, will be preferable.
  • Portfolio Strategy Development.
  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical skills.
  • Strategic Supplier Partnerships.
  • Financial analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • SAP and digital sourcing platforms knowledge; digitally adept in using tools, data and reporting to support procurement decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional partners and external supply partners.
  • High digital fluency, including SAP, digital sourcing platforms, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited supervision, strategize for the portfolio and translate strategy into effective execution.
