Procurement Specialist (Thai, Chinese, English Speaking) - Data Center Industry Location: Panthong, Chonburi, Thailand Business: Data Centers Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for data center prefabricated modules, core equipment (UPS, precision ACs), raw materials, and engineering support.
- Develop and optimize the local data center industry supply chain in Thailand, including supplier development, evaluation, and performance management.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure timely, quality-compliant material delivery aligned with project milestones.
- Drive cost control initiatives and mitigate procurement risks through market analysis, negotiation, and value analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies and local regulations, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience:3+ years in data center procurement, familiar with prefabricated modules and core equipment. EPC project or prefabricated module procurement experience is a plus, as is knowledge of local Thai supply chains.
- Languages:Fluent Thai (native level), fluent Chinese (working language), fluent English (advantage, especially for international suppliers).
- Skills:Proficient in the full procurement process (planning, negotiation, supplier management), strong negotiation and cost control abilities. Familiarity with SAP/SRM is a plus.
- Competencies:Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and risk management skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:Experience in multinational corporations and the Southeast Asian data center industry.
