Job Description
The Product & Account Manager (PAM) at Khiri Travel Thailand plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company's relationships with key accounts while driving product innovation and ensuring alignment with Khiri Travel's Mission and Values. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to manage client relationships, optimize product offerings, and contribute to the overall growth of the business. The PAM is expected to be a proactive problem solver, a strategic planner, and a passionate advocate for Khiri Travel's values and sustainability goals. The role also involves conducting product research and development to keep offerings fresh, competitive, and aligned with market trends. The PAM needs to be hands-on, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, and adept at fostering inter-departmental collaboration to exceed client expectations and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Client and Account Management
- Proactive Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with key accounts and proactively communicate with overseas partners regarding new products and offers.
- Strengthening Relationships: Build strong relationships with our partners and lead the sales team in the strengthening of their relationships with our tour operator partners.
- Maximize Potential and Growth: Enhance the potential of key accounts through effective product management and value-added communications, always in alignment with company values.
- Client Support: Provide efficient and proactive support to clients, fostering strong relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and promptly addressing their concerns.
- Account Management:Collaborate with sales offices in Europe and the USA for account management, including onboarding new partners and keeping products updated.
II. Product & Tariff Development and Management
- Product Optimization: Optimize products for key market segments in line with company standards.
- Product Updates: Keep existing products up to date with detailed information and share the information with the relevant departments and clients.
- Product Development: Conduct field research to develop new products following the company's product development plan and procedures.
- Creative Contribution: Be a leading member of the Khiri Travel Thailand Creative Team.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent product and service quality in collaboration with management.
- Supplier Negotiation:Help to negotiate with suppliers during the product development stage.
- Tariff Management: Lead tariff communication with our agents and manage tariff updates in coordination with the Contracting department and Sales departments.
III. Sales Support and Guidance
- Response Speed and Quality: Provide guidance and support to sales team members to ensure accurate, efficient and value-added responses to client inquiries and proposals.
- Team Productivity: Enhance sales team productivity through feedback, guidance, and counseling.
- Workflow Management: Screen partner communications and help the sales team manage workflow efficiently.
- Innovation: Encourage the sales team to create innovative and marketable itineraries.
- Fam Trips, MICE, Luxury, and VIP Services: Personal involvement in all operating programs for fam trips, MICE, luxury, and VIP services.
IV. Cross-Departmental/Destination Collaboration
- Coordination: Support and collaborate with other departments to enhance synergy and implement changes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure service quality by coordinating with other departments.
- Multi-Country Itineraries: Assist in collaborating with other Khiri destinations for multi-country itineraries.
- Inspection Trips:Participate in and assist with inspection/business trips preparation.
- Training and Development: Assist in creating product updates, webinars, and training.
V. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Budget and Planning: Assist the General Manager in creating budget plans and development strategies for the Product & Account Management team.
- Performance Indicators: Be involved with the development and implementation of performance indicators, procedures, and tools for the Commercial Department.
- Monitoring: Analyze sales metrics to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Competitiveness: Utilize special offers and innovative ideas to maintain competitive proposals.
- Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Follow-up Skills: Demonstrate strong follow-up skills and proactive involvement.
- Problem-solving: Quickly identify issues, communicate effectively, and take practical action.
- Efficiency: Maximize efficiency using the company's systems.
VI. Sustainability and Brand Ambassadorship
- Brand Promotion: Promote Thailand as a destination and uphold Khiri Travel's vision, mission, and values.
- Sustainability Communication: Develop new products with sustainability in mind and communicate sustainability policies to suppliers during the development stage.
- Code of Conduct: Adhere to the Khiri Code of Conduct and promote sustainability.
As part of Khiri Travel's Sustainability efforts, all employees are also expected to partake in the following responsibilities:
- Be a member of, or actively support, the Khiri Green Team and come up with new initiatives to comply with our Sustainability Policy and improve the sustainability of Khiri Travel's operations.
- Encourage team engagement and development in all sustainability-related exercises.
- Be aware of and have access to Khiri Travel's sustainability policy.

Job Requirements:
- Language: We're looking for a native-level Dutch or German speaker. Additional European languages are a plus.
- Knowledge: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Western travel expectations, communication styles, and service standards, with proven experience working with European or North American clients
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Southeast Asian DMC (preferably in Thailand), in a client-facing sales or business development role focused on North American or European markets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

What we offer:
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week with flexible scheduling. This is a results-oriented position, and at times deadlines and time zones may dictate outside office hours work as part of this pivotal position.
- Location: This is an on-site position based at our Greater Bangkok office, close to the MRT Purple Line.
- Insurance: Medical and disability insurance after successfully passing probation.
- Salary: Commensurate with experience. In the 65,000 - 75,000 Thai Baht range.
