Job Purpose

To lead the strategic market entry and commercial growth of the Ideal Standard brand across the Rest of Asia (ROA) region. This pivotal role is responsible for defining the winning product portfolio, pricing and will drive the marketing execution to achieve successful market launch and sustained business growth. You act as a brand owner and first point of contact for the brand in the region.

Your tasks

1. Strategic Portfolio Selection & Pricing

Lead and drive the comprehensive market launch strategy and execution for the Ideal Standard brand in the ROA region.

Define the winning product portfolio for ROA, in close collaboration with the HQ based Product Management and R&D teams, ensuring it is tailored to local market needs.

Develop and implement a competitive pricing strategy to ensure strong market penetration and profitability.

Drive the development timeline targeting a successful market launch by early 2027, with an initial focus on key markets such as South Korea and Taiwan.

Conduct market visits to screen competition and evaluate product/ pricing competitiveness

2. Commercial Execution & Training

Create or adapt all necessary brand, marketing, and product communication collaterals (e.g., sales tools, showroom guidelines, distributor kits) to support the launch and ongoing sales efforts.

Lead the training and enablement of internal sales teams and external distributor partners on the new brand and product portfolio.

Inform about product changes / novelties during the business year, stay connected to important functions in HQ

First point of contact for HQ team for product requests, market insights

Maintain critical tools for completeness (specification tools etc)

3. Trade Marketing & Distributor Enablement

  • Act as the primary marketing contact for distributors, developing joint marketing plans to reach out effectively to stake holders
  • Share best practices across the distributor network and push for strategic topics
  • Provide on-site support for key launches and marketing events in distributor markets targeted at key stakeholders

4. Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the marketing budget for the ROA launch and ongoing activities, ensuring efficient allocation and spend.
  • Track the product performance and sell out to distributors, analyse and propose action plans to push sales performance

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, trade marketing, or commercial management, with a proven track record in market launches or major brand expansions.
  • General Marketing Experience in the building materials, consumer durables, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience working with and managing distributor networks across different Asian markets.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a significant plus.
  • Good at Strategic Marketing Management Tools, Salesforce, CRM, etc.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 is required.
  • Available to travel international
