We are looking for a Product Design Manager to lead and elevate our design team. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual design taste, hands-on experience, and proven people management skills, who can balance craft quality with team leadership.
ResponsibilitiesTeam & Design Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Designers and UI/UX Designers.
- Set clear design standards, processes, and expectations across projects.
- Foster a collaborative design culture focused on quality, clarity, and impact.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders.
Visual Craft & Quality
- Own and maintain high visual design standards across all products.
- Review and guide UI work to ensure strong layout, typography, color, and consistency.
- Lead the evolution of Design Systems to support scalable, production-ready UI.
- Step in hands-on when needed for critical product initiatives.
Product & Execution
- Ensure design solutions align with product goals, business needs, and user experience.
- Communicate design direction and rationale clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Oversee end-to-end design quality from discovery to delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design or Visual/UI Design.
- At least 2+ years in a design leadership or management role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual design taste and execution.
- Experience managing designers and reviewing design work at scale.
- Solid understanding of Design Systems and modern product workflows.
- Healthtech or complex systems experience is a plus.
