As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, functional, and user-centered furniture and decor pieces. You will:
- Apply design thinking to generate creative solutions
- Conduct user research to inform design concepts
- Produce working drawings for production
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production and sales
- Ensure alignment with Corner 43's design language and brand values
- Create showroom layouts and presentations for internal and client use
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Visual Design and Product Design
- Proficiency in Design Thinking and the ability to apply it to project workflows
- Experience and knowledge in conducting User Research and UX Research
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail with a good sense of proportion and usability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
- Ability to design within the context of cultural and aesthetic traditions with knowledge of basic materials: wood, metal, rope, rattan
- Proficient in 2D/3D design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, SolidWorks, Rhino, or others)
- Previous experience in product or furniture design is a plus
- Passionate about furniture and craftsmanship
