Product Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end product development process, from initial concept to final production.

Dive into root cause analysis and troubleshooting throughout the design phase.

Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable, market-ready products.

Run product verification and validation (V&V) to ensure everything meets performance, safety, and reliability standards.

Apply GD&T and conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to drive precision in design and manufacturing.

Build and test prototypes to push product performance to the next level.

Lead DFMEA sessions to identify and reduce development risks early on.

Drive continuous improvement in design, cost, and quality.

Qualifications:

A degree in Mechanical or related engineering field.

At least 3 years of experience in product development.

Strong knowledge of product development tools: DFMEA, GD&T, stack-up analysis, and more.

Proficiency in CAD software, Creo Parametric is a strong plus, but we welcome experience with other tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Hands-on experience with Design validation.

Good English communication skills this role works closely with our New Zealand-based team.
