Develop and test new bakery products in alignment with brand concepts, customer needs, and defined cost targets, ensuring high standards of taste and quality.
Prepare and produce a variety of bakery products, including but not limited to sourdough, bagels, and cakes.
Develop, improve, and optimize recipes from ingredient selection and formulation to suitability for commercial-scale production.
Establish standard recipes and SOPs, including raw material preparation processes, packaging formats, and food cost calculations.
Monitor product quality and production processes after development, identifying issues and coordinating improvements with relevant departments.
Prepare and present products to customers in collaboration with the marketing team and other related teams.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, procurement, and sales to ensure products are market-ready.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
Experience in bakery product development or commercial bakery production.
Strong hands-on baking skills (especially bread and artisan bakery).
Knowledge of recipe development, food cost calculation, and SOPs.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
