Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Product Engineer specializing in Motion Sensors to support the full product lifecycle of advanced semiconductor sensor products. The role focuses on factory transfer support, yield improvement, cost reduction, and product quality assurance.
The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product ramp-up, sustaining engineering, and performance monitoring across manufacturing and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
- Support factory transfer and product ramp-up activities.
- Enable smooth product qualification and re-qualification, especially focused on Final Test stages.
- Support project transfer activities when required.
Yield & Cost Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product yield.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Improve test efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
Product Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze product performance data, including:
- Yield trends
- Test time metrics
- Quality performance indicators
- Proactively identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the following teams:
- Business Line
- Test Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Quality
- Manufacturing
- Resolve technical issues and support product ramp-up and sustaining engineering activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and technical documentation.
- Present findings and maintain documentation for assigned products and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- or related technical field.
- 58 years of experience in:
- Product Engineering
- Test Engineering
- or similar role within the Semiconductor Industry.
- Experience with sensor products is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as:
- JMP
- Exensio
- Minitab
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
