Job Description

The Product Manager – AI Project role involves defining product vision and strategy for AI-driven retail solutions, conducting market and user research, managing product requirements and project lifecycles, collaborating with AI/ML teams, and leading cross-functional efforts to optimize product performance and stakeholder communication. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, product management experience in retail AI or computer vision, strong analytical skills, familiarity with AI/ML development, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate a compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI-driven solutions, aligning with overall company objectives and market opportunities.

2.User Research: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify pain points, unmet needs, and emerging trends in retail AI/computer vision.

3.Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Translate customer and business needs into detailed product requirements (user stories, use cases, specifications) for AI models, software features, and hardware integrations. Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.

4.Project Management and Planning: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for product initiatives, including defining scope, setting timelines, managing resources, and tracking progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

5.Basic AI Model Understanding & Collaboration: Work closely with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to understand the capabilities and limitations of various AI models (e.g., object detection, pose estimation, anomaly detection). Guide the development and improvement of these models based on product requirements.

6.Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the product expert and primary liaison between engineering, data science, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle.

7.End to End Product Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute end to end product strategies

8.Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define OKRs for product success, monitor product performance, analyze data, identify risk and iterate on features to continuously improve effectiveness and user satisfaction.

9.Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product updates, progress, and challenges

to internal and external stakeholders.

10.Retail Understanding: Understand key retail concepts such as planogram (visual merchandising), inventory control, and retail operation management.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Business or a related field. Master's degree in Engineering or Operations Research or MBA is a plus.

2.Proven experience in product management, preferably in the retail domain, AI/ML product, or computer vision.

3.Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail business processes and data analytics.

4.Familiarity with the AI/ML development lifecycle, including data collection, labeling, model training, deployment, and monitoring.

5.Excellent in communication, leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Good command of English communication is a must.
