Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager with a strong background in enterprise software. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our products, from the initial engagement with clients to commissioning, including configuration and testing. The role will involve working with both private and public sector clients, ensuring that our software meets their unique needs and exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and roadmap.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions that align with their business goals.
• Lead the product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery using Scrum concepts and methodology.
• Prepare man-day efforts for the successful delivery of projects.
• Work with management to define and refine key performance indicators for team members.
• Plan, manage, and prioritize regular sprints to implement feature requests, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer feedback and business priorities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to define competitive technical specifications and ensure successful implementation.
• Analyse and evaluate existing process friction points and redesign processes to eliminate/reduce friction.
• Conduct product training sessions for both internal teams and clients.
• Perform regular reviews and ensure that contract requirements are met.
• Provide coaching to team members to align business and team objectives and deliver excellence.
• Participate in regular stakeholder meetings and update on objectives and key performance indicators.
• Update and track key business metrics on predefined dashboards.
• Participate in strategy planning and ensure alignment with team members on organisation's strategic direction.
• Support the sales and marketing teams in promoting and positioning the product in the market.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitors.
• Work with clients on surveying and updating the risk landscape to maintain the risk register for currently active projects.
• Work with the clients to do impact analysis and implement effective communications for the proposed changes.
• Conduct regular update meetings with partners to set goals and update performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in the enterprise software domain.
• Strong understanding of private and public sector client needs and requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with the full product lifecycle, including configuration and testing.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
