Key Responsibilities:
Mobile Platform & SDK Ownership
- Define and drive the roadmap for shared SDKs, mobile frameworks, and modular platform services that power multiple verticals within the super app.
- Design mobile platform requirements to support multi-module apps, enabling feature isolation, independent deployment, and scalability.
- Ensure mobile SDKs are secure, version-controlled, and backward compatible to support various feature teams without disruption.
- Lead the integration and ongoing optimization of analytics SDKs including Mixpanel, Braze, google analytic, personalization and other event instrumentation tools to enable real-time user insights, funnel tracking, retention analysis, and segmented user messaging.
- Establish standards for event naming, tagging structures, and data governance to ensure consistency across app modules and teams.
- Evaluate and onboard new tools and SDKs related to performance monitoring, experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), in-app messaging, and push notification systems.
App Lifecycle & Release Management
- Own the end-to-end release process: from feature planning and build automation to app store submission and performance monitoring.
- Ensure efficient coordination with QA and DevOps to maintain high release velocity with minimum downtime or app regressions.
Data & Analytics Integration
- Collaborate with Data, Marketing, and BI teams to design and implement in-app event tracking, user segmentation, A/B testing, and personalized engagement flows using tools like Mixpanel, Braze, etc.
- Define success metrics for platform features (e.g., adoption rate, crash-free sessions, engagement impact) and use dashboards to monitor platform performance and outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a central point of coordination between engineering, product, data, marketing, and QA teams to ensure platform capabilities are scalable and easy to adopt.
- Lead documentation, training, and rollout for platform tools, SDKs, and analytics best practices across the mobile product teams.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 37 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2+ years in a technical or platform PM role for mobile apps.
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android development, mobile CI/CD, SDK management, and app lifecycle.
- Experience implementing and managing analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Braze, Firebase Analytics, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated success in managing technical backlogs, writing product requirements for developer-facing tools, and driving adoption of shared services across teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Technical background (e.g., software engineering, computer science degree).
- Familiarity with event-based architecture, modular codebases, and feature flagging frameworks.
- Prior experience working on multi-region super apps or super app SDK orchestration.
- Knowledge of mobile data privacy (e.g., ATT, GDPR compliance in analytics) and secure tracking practices.
