Product Manager R&D and Innovation Driving Commercial Growth through Digital & AI Products
This role owns a portfolio of digital and AIpowered products that drive commercial growth. You will operate as one of several (senior) Product Managers within Commercial Applications, reporting to the Head of Commercial Applications, and owning outcomes for a defined product area and its supporting products.
You will work at the intersection of Co-manufacturing Sales, R&D, and Digital to turn user needs into scalable products that improve decisionmaking, execution, and revenue outcomes. The purpose is to streamline the business processes and improve productivity through AI.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Set and own the product vision and roadmap for digital and AI-enabled commercial products, with clear impact on growth and profitability
- Define user personas and endtoend user journeys, translating them into clear product and technical blueprints with R&D and Digital teams
- Bring an outsidein commercial perspective, grounded in handson experience (e.g. Branded CPG or Co-manufacturing), to challenge current processes and improve ways of working
- Drive innovation with commercial discipline, turning ideas into solutions that increase sales, improve pricing and margin, or avoid cost
- Own financial accountability for the product, managing CAPEX and making deliberate OPEX tradeoffs to avoid deferring cost into the future
- Work closely with delivery, project, and change partners, staying deliveryliterate while remaining accountable for product outcomes rather than execution
- Own the product post golive, acting as the subjectmatter authority and leading a small team (1-2 people) responsible for stability, expertise, and continuous improvement

What You Bring (Must Have)
- Proven experience owning or co-owning digital products or major digital initiatives, with accountability for outcomes, roadmap, and tradeoffs
- Strong affinity with digital and technology, including handson experience working with engineers, data teams, and vendors (no coding required)
- Ability to translate business problems into product decisions, understanding both the possibilities and limits of digital solutions
- Solid commercial background in a relevant domain (e.g. Sales, R&D and co-manufacturing), with credibility to challenge existing processes
- Experience managing and developing small teams (1-2 people), including coaching and capability building
- Comfort operating with senior stakeholders and making decisions with incomplete information
