About The Role
The Product Owner (PO) plays a vital role in defining and prioritizing the work required for successful product development working for a major retail leader. The project will focus on a universal Portal for commercial teams to allow them to manage price and promotion.
Responsibilities
1. Price & Promotion Portal
- Centralized Pricing Control: Enable the Commercial Team to manage base and slab pricing with integrated approval workflows.
- Promotion Engine: Manage diverse promotion types (Price-off, Multi-buy, and Loyalty) within a single portal.
- Supplier Collaboration: Integrate with the Supplier Portal to automate promotion funding workflows.
- Financial Governance: Implement specific approval workflows for promotion scenarios.
2. OPI Vision (Margin Management Tool)
- Margin Visibility: Deliver comprehensive margin summaries filtered by buyer, supplier, department, and division.
- Financial Planning: Facilitate margin target submissions and approvals via the Commercial Finance team and LOA chain.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor Month-to-Date (MTD) performance across key buckets (Trading Agreements, Promotion Funding, Stat Margin, and Marketing Income).
- Forecasting & Simulation: Build tools to simulate month-end closures and provide visual projections of margin run rates.
- ERP Integration: Oversee integration with ERP systems to ensure income recording follows updated logic (e.g., shifting Promotion Funding to Stat Margin).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Owner
- Experience in Omni-Channel Retail, E-commerce, Price & Promotion management projects are an advantage
- Proven experience in digital product development and lifecycle management
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively manage and refine the product backlog
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles and their practical application
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from data
- Thai native with high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
