Role: Production Engineer (Piping / Structural)

Work Period: 12 Months contract
Work Hour: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 17:00 and Saturday 07:30 – 12:00 (5.5 days)
Location: Sriracha, Chonburi
Responsibilities
Support to shop floor on structural steel fabrication on piping / mechanical fabrication / installation and related activities.
Major accountabilities include:
- Coordinate with other disciplines i.e. piping, mechanical, E&I, QA/QC during construction works.
- Material issue as per 6-week look ahead schedule.
- Monitor and report progress of construction works.
- Prepare detailed work procedure and sequence for sub-activities.
- Coordinate shop drawing discrepancy with shop floor and Engineering office.
- Prepare Site Instruction (SI's) for design change, work variations or clarification on fabrication discrepancy.
- Prepare Technical Query (TQ's) when discrepancy cannot be resolved on shop floor.
- Monitor and coordinate with out-sourced work package sub-contractors.
Structural
1. Construction Engineering (Steel)
- Advise Assembly Procedure
- Review shop drawings for Fabrication (Technical Queries, Site Instruction and Approval from clients)
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement Departments for materials status, specification, MWR (Materials Withdraw Request), MBPR and MTO
- Monitor and report work progress
- Cross disciplines coordination
- Coordinate with subcontractor for subcontract fabrication work
2. Load Out
- Ship list
- MDR gather final documents (for installation)
Piping
- Prepare material BOQ's
- Coordinate with Material Management Department for material transfer.
- Prepare detailed work procedure and sequence for sub-activities.
- Coordinate on shop drawing discrepancies with shop floor and discipline engineer.
- Prepare Technical Query when discrepancy cannot be resolved on shop floor.
- Prepare and maintain shop drawing reference drawings i.e. P&ID's, Isometric index etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Civil and Structural, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering)
- With min. 3 years direct experience
- Competent in piping systems design
- Offshore Construction, Steel Fabrication, Mechanical and Piping
- Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- Negotiation skills
