Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. This role oversees production planning, workforce management, process improvement initiatives, and compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards. The Production Manager collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Commercial teams to achieve operational excellence and support business growth

You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage daily production operations to ensure achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Develop and implement production strategies, capacity plans, and operational improvements aligned with company goals and customer requirements
  • Monitor production performance through KPIs, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, safety standards, and local legal requirements
  • Manage production planning and resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production schedules and customer demand
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to resolve operational issues and optimize manufacturing processes
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower manufacturing costs
  • Analyze production data, prepare operational reports, and present performance updates and improvement plans to management
  • Support new product introductions, process transfers, and manufacturing scale-up activities while ensuring smooth implementation and operational readiness
  • Ensure effective inventory control of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods within the production area
  • Lead investigations of production deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions as required

Required Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or production management role
  • Experience in chemical, specialty chemicals, electroplating, surface finishing, or related process manufacturing industries is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, quality systems, and EHS requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in Thai and good command of English
