Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-precision plastic components supplying to automotive and industrial customers across both domestic and international markets. With strong investment in advanced injection molding technology, automation, and lean manufacturing, the company is looking for an experienced Production Manager to strengthen operational performance and support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operational Management
- Manage daily production operations for plastic injection molding to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Plan and control manpower, machine utilization, and production scheduling to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain functions.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Improve injection molding processes, cycle time, and scrap reduction through Lean, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, yield, downtime, and productivity, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to enhance operational stability.
Technical Oversight
- Supervise machine setup, tooling changes, and parameter optimization for consistent product quality.
- Work closely with Engineering teams on new product launches, trials, and process validation.
- Support mold maintenance strategy and ensure equipment reliability.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, supervisors, and technicians to build a high-performance culture.
- Promote safety awareness, discipline, and continuous learning within the manufacturing environment.
- Drive employee engagement and accountability to achieve plant objectives.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure production complies with quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support audits and maintain adherence to ISO / IATF standards where applicable.
- Maintain a safe working environment aligned with company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing, preferably within automotive or high-volume production environments.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, materials, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience managing production teams and driving KPI-based performance improvements.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO quality systems is an advantage.
