Job Purpose

The Production Manager oversees the full production cycle of composite yachts, ensuring that all vessels are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. The role coordinates closely with internal departments to ensure efficient operations, smooth communication, and continuous improvement of production performance.

Production Management

• Ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions when needed
• Optimize the allocation of production resources

Workshop Organization & Industrialization

• Optimize layouts and production flows
• Develop and implement industrialized processes to improve productivity and reduce costs

Cross-Department Coordination

• Act as the interface between Production and the Design Office
• Ensure alignment with Purchasing for material availability
• Coordinate with HR on staffing and workforce planning

Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency

Health, Safety & Prevention

• Promote a strong safety culture within teams
• Maintain safe working conditions through preventive measures

Team Management

• Supervise production teams and coordinate supervisors and workers
• Support team performance and development

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure application of company policies and operational standards
• Monitor compliance with internal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering, Naval Industries, Industrial Management, or a related field, and brings at least 10 years of experience in production management, with mandatory experience in shipbuilding. Experience in industrial manufacturing and serial production environments is considered a strong asset. The candidate demonstrates solid knowledge of health and safety regulations, along with strong capabilities in financial management and performance analysis. Proven leadership and strong people management skills are essential, as well as the ability to operate in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required.
