Establish and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) process to ensure production plans align with capacity and material availability and monitor actual output against the schedule.
Update daily and weekly production schedules and reports.
Proactively address potential issues that could affect production flow and delivery commitments.
Monitor production status and coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory Management, to ensure WIP/products are produced in line with WIP inventory target, not overproduced which may lead to high inventory and obsolete stock.
Control defined KPIs to achieve per target ie. output and OTIF. To ensure output meet plant target.
Communicate policies, objectives, and procedures clearly to team members to ensure alignment with company strategies and goals.
Participate in new model launch activities.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and monitor the results to ensure that they can be delivered to customer on time.
Coordinate with CSU, Purchasing, Production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
Monitor production progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Liaise with quality control to address any production issues promptly.
Prepare regular reports on production performance for HOD and senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Engineering degree is an advantage.
Required Skills
Proven experience in Production Planning, Production Control, and Material Control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in computer skills: Advanced Excel, SAP, Canva, Power BI and VBA.
