You will monitor the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs to meet production specifications and use resources efficiently. You will manage staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment operated, safety. You will train new workers in our operating procedures and standards. You will prepare production reports to resolve performance problems. You will standardize, improve the working instruction in all covered processes to ensure the good quality, yield and safely. You will report directly to Assistant Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Holds accountability for production safety and maintains compliance to all applicable EHS operating requirements, intervenes and takes applicable action when poor safety behaviors or substandard performance is observed, provides training and development coaching and counseling to the operating personnel to maintain EHS and operating procedures compliance and understanding.
- Accountable for productivity, efficiency and operation discipline of the production to meet our goals.
- Arrange resources to complete the production plan. Coordinate with applicable functions for the daily activities of a team of production workers. This ensures that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules. Volume, cost, operator over time, wastage targets; and quality standards
- Accountable to ensure that you operate the equipment and procedures safely to produce the OEM product lines with safety, operation standard, 5S.
- Accountable to maintain the established housekeeping standards participates in and takes a leadership role maintaining and improving the 5S program and other business improvement goals for production area.
- Accountable for updates the operator training matrix, develop operator skill matrix and operator discipline.
- Insure IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001 requirement are follow for production area.
- Accountable for daily report of safety, productivity, equipment, 5S and other issue which related to production OEM and feedback or reporting the deviation to plan which may affect to customer demand.
- Accountable for material availability which stock in production shop floor, super market, tinter station, additive station and MRO material as agree with related function.
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical degree with manufacturing experience
- Prefer to have experience in paint chemical or chemical manufacturing at least 1-3 years.
- Prefer to have experience to manage team members 10-20 people.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good leadership skill, have effective human relations
- Good verbal and written communication skills both local and English.
