The idea candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinating a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Mold, Planning, and Quality teams to control product quality and improve defects during production.
- Analyze product defects and scrap, implement corrective actions, and follow up on improvement results.
- Lead production teams to solve problems efficiently before production starts.
- Conduct weekly meetings to review production issues and continuous improvement progress.
- Prepare progress reports and support long-term improvement plans.
- Arrange training for production staff to ensure proper work procedures and performance improvement.
- Prepare documentation and requirements for new products or product changes for customer approval.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Quality Management System, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Energy Conservation requirements.
- Report production performance to Manager or General Manager and perform other tasks as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years experience as a Production Supervisor or in a production control leadership role.
- Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing and mold-related processes will be given special consideration.
- Good command of English skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Strong communication skills
