The Program Management (Manager / Senior Manager)is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of programs and projects within the Business Unit. This role ensures alignment with organizational strategy, successful New Product Introduction (NPI), effective cross-functional collaboration, strong stakeholder management, and disciplined governance, financial control, and risk management. The position provides leadership and mentorship to program and project teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute program and project strategies, objectives, plans, timelines, and resource allocations aligned with business goals.
- Lead and manage programs and NPI projects from concept through mass production, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee execution progress, monitor performance, and address issues, risks, and dependencies with timely escalation when required.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, performance metrics, and review processes to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Manage financial aspects including budgeting, cost control, P&L monitoring, production quotations, and inventory oversight.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor program and project risks throughout the lifecycle with appropriate contingency plans.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, effective resource utilization, and team development.
- Oversee BOM and Engineering Change Order (ECO) management to ensure alignment with design, production requirements, and minimal disruption.
- Evaluate outcomes, analyze performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across programs and projects.
- Implement communication plans to support new product inquiries, RFIs, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- 7–10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in manufacturing, EMS, or NPI environments.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of program/project management methodologies, governance, and risk management.
- Experience with NPI lifecycle, from development through mass production.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and P&L tracking.
- Hands-on experience with BOM and ECO management in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in project management tools and ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrix organization.
